10 Years of Growth

Thank You For Growing With Us

It’s official: Green Gate has reached the double digits!

So much has happened in the past 10 years, both in the world and in our optimistic corner of it. We’ve laughed, we’ve loved, we’ve pivoted and made adjustments… but through it all, we have continued to grow and learn.

And a major part of that is you.

One of the things we love about serving the nonprofit community is the way it both inspires and educates us. Over the past 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with organizations in a variety of spaces: from health equity and capacity building to schools and faith institutions. And with each new project we take on, our experience grows along with our commitment to help make the world a better place.

All of that is to say: we wouldn’t be where we are without you.

Happy Birthday To Us!

In honor our 10th anniversary, we're giving ourselves the gift of a new brand!

We started to "rebrand," when time would allow, quite a while ago. We would revisit aspects of our brand strategy and positioning here and there, then have to put it aside to focus our resources on client work.

This year, however, we fully committed to finalizing our brand strategy and visual identity, and are excited to roll it out, starting... right now.

Hello Friends,

As I reflect on the last ten years of business, I can honestly say that building and running Green Gate has been one of the most rewarding (and challenging) experiences of my life. I'm so proud of what we've built and how we've evolved. And I am grateful to every single employee, client, and vendor we’ve worked with over the years—I have learned from each and every one of you.

With this rebrand, one of the major changes is how we identify and position ourselves. Over the last several years, we’ve moved from our original identity as a “full-service marketing agency” to a “brand and marketing agency” to now, finally, a “brand development” agency.

It’s a simple but significant shift. We love brand identity work and believe strongly in how important it is for nonprofits’ continued growth and impact; but we also know that effective nonprofit brands require nurturing and careful stewardship. Like so many things, the answer isn’t in one or the other, but the relationship between the two. Our new positioning expresses our commitment to supporting nonprofit brands thoughtfully and holistically until the mission is complete.

There’s a lot more I could say about this shift—and as an agency, we will—but for now, if you’d like to learn more about Green Gate’s new brand, including the strategy and visual development, check out this guided tour of our rebrand process.

Thank you so much for sharing this moment with me. I hope you enjoy.
