More Than a Deliverable

Identity is a complex thing. With brands as with people, there are multiple layers: who you are, how you look, and—ultimately—the things you do.

Authenticity occurs when all of these things exist in alignment with one another. That’s why we structure our Brand Identity and other projects the way that we do: to foster aligned, authentic brands that are grounded in thoughtful intention.

When you have that, there’s no limit to the impact your brand can have.

Phase 1: Start With Strategy

In our last email, we outlined Phase 1 of our Brand Identity project: Brand Strategy. We can’t stress enough how important it is to ground all aspects of your identity in your organization’s values and a thorough assessment of its goals and obstacles.

Once you do have an approved strategy, it’s finally time to think about how you’re going to put your best foot forward. It’s time to think about your brand’s visual identity.

Phase 2: Logo Development

Your logo is the public face of your brand. Apart from your name, it’s probably your brand’s most recognizable asset.

During this phase of the project, we’ll use your approved brand strategy to create multiple logo concepts which we will present and workshop until we arrive at a distinctive, effective, and—most of all—authentic expression of who you are.

Phase 3: Visual Identity System

Your logo is the foundation of your brand's visual identity, but your identity system is what gives it the flexibility and versatility to show up in different ways.

These include the types, colors, patterns, icons, and imagery you use to customize how you show up in the world.

We’ll use your final logo design as the basis for a versatile identity system that includes detailed guidelines to ensure your brand shows up consistently and on point.
